I have to admit that when I saw Ishii Kazuhiro's 1992 Seiwa Bunrakukan on a trip to Japan, I couldn't really grasp the ceiling of the theatre. But I remembered it when I saw the student project for the vertical project. Later I studied this structure and found out that only units work as a leverwork, but then they are held together by clamps and not by the lever principle. But the round building has a circular leverwork at the top.
