The pavilion is a further development of ideas evolved from working with students in Hangzhou and Nanjing. It is a space defining structure of a hybrid form, consisting of upwards cantilevering walls and a roof spanning across. Three separate leverworks are combined into a fourth with the connection also following the principles.

The smaller structures are a selection of leverworks which were made in the Summer of 2009 and presented before at Sing Yin Secondary School in Hong Kong and as parts of the exhibitions in Hangzhou and Nanjing.
