Self-connecting
In many structures which are made from small components, we can distinguish between
two or three component types: elements, nodes and connectors. In a leverwork there
is only one type of component which means that a component is at the same time
element, node and connector. The components self-connect to form the structure.
Leverworks can also bee seen as a kind of fabric made by short-distance weaving
with more or less stiff components. Each component is jammed by other components
from above and below.
